During the overnight hours of Monday, August 1, 2022, the Millstone Township School District’s Maintenance Building located on Schoolhouse Road was robbed of mowers, equipment and tools.
Millstone Township Business Administrator Kevin Abernethy reported that the perpetrators allegedly entered the building purposefully trying to evade the surveillance cameras as they stole the mowers, equipment and tools, transported this equipment through the fence to the street and then loaded the equipment onto a trailer/vehicle with a lift gate and drove away.
The New Jersey State Police (NJSP) is currently investigating this theft. If anyone saw suspicious activity or has security camera footage during the hours of 10 pm Monday, August 1, 2022, to Tuesday, August 2, 2022, please report this to the New Jersey State Police in Hamilton 609-584-5000.

“The State Police have made some arrests regarding recent car thefts in Millstone and are continuing their investigations. We remind residents to please lock their car doors and do not leave their keys and belongings in their vehicles,” Abernethy said.
