As an annual celebration of Arbor Day, representatives of Millstone Township visit the schools and provide seedlings to students in the Primary, Elementary and Middle Schools.
Mayor Kinsey and Social Worker Jason Suleski speak to the students about the seedlings
Mayor Bob Kinsey, Committeeman Fiore Masci, Township Administrator Maria Dellasala and Township employee Irv Siet attended the event and assisted in distributing over 700 seedlings to all of the students.
All of the seedlings were provided by the New Jersey State Forestry located in Jackson.
Committeeman Masci said, “This year each student was given a blue spruce seedling to plant. Many of the students shared stories of how previous seedlings have grown in to trees three feet tall in just a few seasons. All of the students and teachers were engaging in discussion about the care and planting instruction that was given with each seedling.”
